JJonesee. Is there any site you don't beat me to?

In my opinion the best place close to Houston is not close to Houston at all. To get good trails and rocks, not just mud, and alot of variety you need to drive at least 3 hours. In Marbles Falls there is a Park called Hidden Falls. it is a great camping spot, very family friendly, good mix of trails and the facilities are some of the best in Texas.

Wheelers forthe Wounded will have there main event out there May 6th and we hope to see alot of Wheelers out there.

K2 is just about an hour past that and has some really nice riding.

Am i mistaken or was this along the proposed 99/Grand Parkway corridor?

There is a new place in Splendora that recently has been more friendly to Jeeps, and tons of atv stuff. My buddy that used to wheel at Spring Creek with me has been there a few times. Its called CreekSide Edge, and they do have RV parking.

There are a lot of places down near Dickinson that have off-roading available. Plus a bunch of empty fields
