Property Taxes In Idaho

What with all the concerns over budgets, and Idaho scrambling to gather every dollar they can in the midst of our current economic crises, it makes a person wonder when we'll be hit with an increase in our property tax. I sure wish we could lock in on a property tax freeze like they've done in California, and probably other states as well. Just wondering how many people would vote on a proposal that would lock in tax rates in our state.

My taxes actually went down this year because the assessed value of my house went down. Which means my house isn't worth as much now. But at least it is worth more than I owe which many people cannot say about their houses.

Our taxes are holding thus far, and I sure hope they stay that way. Where are you located? What county?
