For getting started, I would also definitely suggest this store (or if you are not nearby, another local store). Prices are more or less similar once you factor in shipping. They have a few good starter kits (more or less the same as any you will find online) and a large selection of kits for getting started.

For getting started out, its worth the extra $ to get the knowledge & help of someone who really knows what they're doing. I still often go back & ask for suggestions or have them sample what Ive made & give suggestions... easy/free way to learn a lot more.
