I'm from Kewanee over by Peoria, but now I live in Northwest Chicago suburbs. I get back to Central IL pretty often though. My parents till live there.

I would say that Effingham is east central Illinois.

tda, I ws born and raised in Quincy, I live in Arkansas now. Quincy is a busy town, ALWAYS something going on in that town, the Gus Mackers 3 on 3 games, car shows, the Adams county fair. Good car racing there, Quincy speed way, My Son and grandson race there. Lonnie (my Son) is track champion last year,2010.
