I like Two Brothers too, they have good beer and a nice setup. Not sure if they do food, or are even open regularly. They are hard to find though.

Goose Island is good for people living in the city. But Two Brothers is my favorite in the area. Domaine DuPage is a great beer!

Two Brothers offers brewery tours on the weekend as well. They also have a hombrew store right next to the restaurant. If you're in that area check out walter payton's roundhouse in Aurora as well.

I'm a big fan of Revolution Brewery in Chicago. Just opened a few months ago. Good beer, good food, good people.

+10 on Two Brothers.

Other than that, I'm happy with my own fridge

There are so many places in the area for great craft beer, but one of my personal favs is Piece Brewery & Pizzeria in Chicago. (around North and Damen)

Outstanding beer, and their pizza is awesome as well. (not traditional Chicago style) That atmosphere is fun, and there is always a livley crowd.

Cool. Did not know there was a brewpub in Plainfield.

In Chicago you can't beat Revolution Brewing Company and Piece Pizza and Brewing. My favorite beer from RevBrew is the Willie, a Wee Heavy Scotch Ale brewed with applewood smoked malt or possibly the Eugene Porter on cask. When on cask the Eugene has a creaminess and a punch of oaky vanilla.

At Piece...hands down the Dark 'n Curvy Dunkelweizen. The best DW I can remember.
