Please give me one good reason to visit Illinois

I live in Illinois and even though we do have more than our fair share of corrupt politicians, we also have a lot of nice places to visit. Chicago has the Shedd Aquarium, The Field Museum, The Museum of Science and Industry, Adler Planetarium and Navy Pier.

Further away from the city we have Starved Rock State Park which is a beautiful park on the Illinois River. We have Rock Cut State Park near Rockford and we have the Shawnee National Forest way down south.

We have the Brookfield Zoo in Brookfield, Illinois just outside of Chicago.

We have several water parks including the Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort near Starved Rock. We have Six Flags Great America in Gurnee.

We have the Woodfield Shopping Mall for those who might want to shop. It features a very cool Lego Land Discovery Center.

We have several casinos scattered across the state for those who might want to try their luck at Black Jack, Poker or whatever.

We have tons of golf courses and don't forget our 2005 World Series Winners the Chicago White Sox, The Chicago Cubs, The Chicago Bulls basketball and the Stanley Cup Winning Chicago Blackhawks.

Come to southern IL if you are into fishing hunting or other outdoorsman activities. Plenty of national parks, loads of natural areas, plenty of lakes and fun spots to have a great time in.

Seeing Chicago once is a must, but I wouldn't want to live there.

We also have a pretty good craft brew scene. Come out to Dundee and stop by Emmett's Tavern, awesome brewpub.

I've lived in Chicago or the surrounding area most of my life, and there's still plenty of things I haven't seen yet. Chicago is reason enough to visit Illinois.

Why the hate on Wisconsin? They have some nice rural areas, the cops are a bit much though...

We have the 2nd largest population of corrupt politicians. We had 1st place but most are now on vacation in Washington. We have some of the worst roads conditions. One of the highest unemployment rates. Some of the highest taxes, toll roads that again are in terrible condition and we don?t even own them. The Sears tower is now the Willis tower? What you talking about Willis? Marshall Fields is now Macys, but hey we have the BEAN!

Stay away, this place sucks. I'm so sick of all the sports fans and all the people who think this state is the cats ass. The only people who really love this state are the ones who never left it.
