Breakfast is a no-brainer - Lou Mitchell's.
Lunch - any of the fine local brewpubs is fine - a very social bunch and, with rare exceptions, some pretty good beer.
Dinner - pick any of the world class steak houses found in Chicago: Gibson's, Gene & Georgetti's, Morton's, Ruth's Chris, Sullivan's, etc, etc, etc.

Breakfast - Mimi's Cafe Naperville, its a chain restaurant but the New Orleans twist makes it well worth the trip.

Lunch - Tap House Grill in Downtown Oswego.

Dinner - If you like Japanese Hibachi and/or Sushi, Kiku in Naperville off of Aurora Blvd is the best for both, Macarena Tapas also in Naperville off of Rt.59 is a small Spanish tapas restaurant that has great tapas and the prices can't be beat.

For German food and weekend entertainment try Schnitzel Platz Restaurant - Home I love this place and have been going there for 7 or 8 years.

If you are ever in the area, stop at the PALOMA DINER in the tiny town of Paloma, Illinois, the food is great, the price is low and the place serves farmers, so the portions are large.

Breakfast in bed when my kids bring me a pile of whatever they could throw on a plate...cold spaghetti, grapes, coco crispy with cool whip on top. Wasn't as bad as it sounds but seeing the kids faces light up when I at it was worth it. Firehouse pizza for lunch and steak and potatoes for dinner......yum!
