Will there ever be "Concealed Carry" in Illinois?

Sort of like the crime rate went down in DC after the Heller case, dont get how the statistics are out there but people are so blind. Citys with the highest crime rate have the strictest gun control , take away the gun control and the crime rate drops .

I picked this up from coments on a home invasion story in Mn. A 92 year old and his wife sent home invader running. To bad they just beat on the guy and didn't blow him away. This comments from John and tells the whole story

I don't think it will happen here.

Actually they do. New York and California are "may issue" states. For upstate New York and Western and far North California, it is fairly easy to get a CCW permit. New York City and the greater LA area are a bit more difficult, but if you are a celebrity.... no problem.

I'd say never i IL move to kentucky where the crime rate is low and the guns are plentiful
