Here in Bloomington we have Upland and BBC (Bloomington brewing co.). The latter is nothing to call home about IMO. Upland has hit or miss beers. Their regulars are tailored more to the masses, but seasonals are good. Also, the Lambics should be out very soon!
Has anyone ever heard of Bee Cave Brewing in Brazil? I was in Indiana a couple months ago and found their beer in a liquor store. I really liked their Honey Wheat.
I'll be in Indiana again for Thanksgiving, so I'll be looking for their beer again to bring home.
Mad Anthony's tap room has a far better offering than just what they package. Barley Island is a great brewery. And yea Three Floyds makes top notch world renowned beer.
THREE FLOYDS! These guys know how to brew. Very good stuff and not your typical "for the masses" beer. My current favorite is "Robert the Bruce" a great 90 Schilling type Scottish Ale. But I can't say I haven't liked any of their beer. Great stuff. Best beer coming out of IN.
I'm not a big fan of Upland. But I must admit they made one great beer - Infinite Wisdom Trippel. It's seasonal and I think this year was the first year. I hope they make it again, because the rest of their stuff is mediocre to less than palatable.
