Photography Thread
I don't want to clutter the IN photos thread, so here's a place to talk about anything photography related.
What kinda of camera do you use? What's your favorite subject to photograph?
Post an answer, your own questions, comments.... post away!

Well gee whiz... i guess i could have posted mine up...
I've got 2 cameras that i use. A Canon Rebel XSi with the 18-55mm kit lens and a Canon Powershot 720IS.
I prefer taking pictures of animals/landscapes/interesting buildings/etc... just not people unless they are part of the landscape...

Photo taken at West Boggs lake while camping.
I used my Nikon D200 with 1.7 teleconvertor with a Nikon 70-200mm 2.8 w/vr lense. I shoot with a Nikon D50 as well and my trusty point and shoot is a Leica D-Lux 4. I have a 12-24mm lense for landscapes, my favorite all purpose is a 16-85mm, 50mm 1.4 for photos, 105mm macro for closeup nature shots, 18-200mm its kinda slow, but it does the job when I don't want to change lenses continuously.

Do you use your macro lens with a 1.5/1.6 crop frame? I'm trying to decide if i want a 60mm or 100mm macro lens for my Canon XSi.
Macro is my favorite type of photography.
Here's a couple from my Powershot 720IS:

My crop factor on my Nikon 105mm micro lense is 1.5. Here are a few shots I have taken.

I would get the 100mm lense. More detail. Shoot in Raw and crop it will be stunning.
