I am in the process of bottling my first batches of commercial wine. I believe we are Indiana's smallest winery with planned production of 500 gal/yr.
We will not have a tasting room for some time but will be present at local Farmer's markets and will host special tastings. Salt Creek winery focuses on fruit wines, and a few grape wines.
Hope you will have the oppurtunity to taste some of our wines soon.
If you can make it to the Bloomington farmer's market (though I think they might be done for the year) I'll check you out. If not, I'll keep an eye out for you in the wine sections of our stores.
I don't have a website yet. I am planning on attending the Columbus and Bloomington farmer's markets and if I can still get in, the Bloomington winter farmer's market. I am a few weeks away from bottling my first batch though.
Thanks for the interest.
Smallest @ 500 gl. I think that is quite a bit. I would have thought some would have been smaller. Good luck with chasing your dream. I'm not to far from Turtle Run in Lanesville. I remember when they started with nothing and now I think they produce some of the best Indiana wines I've tasted. You should look into brew and cork in Corydon in the spring. It's a tasting event that could help you show case your wines.
