Just finished 10th day in the primary for my first Tripel and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on time in the 2nd. I've had many people say 6 weeks but I'm wondering if I need to re-pitch the yeast if I wait that long. Any experience or suggestions are welcome.
I think you're in the wrong forum. Go back to Homebrewtalk. But, six weeks is probably good for the secondary but you'll probably still want to age it for a considerable amount of time after that. My first Triple was considerably better after 12 months and even better after 18. Your can either age it in the carboy after the secondary or age it in the bottle after carbonating. You shouldn't have to repitch at six weeks unless it hasn't attenuated to the point you want.
