Brugge Brasserie

Hi all,

If you're looking for a good local brewery with great beer, atmosphere and food, check this place out: Brugge Brasserie. It's in Broad Ripple. I'm not a local but was there a few times in the past year for business. This was my favorite spot to go.

The beer there is awesome, the food is even better. The only downside is the service is spotty. Sometimes it's really good as I understand it, but the last time I was there we were practically ignored by our server all night. It was a pretty terrible experience.

Sit in the bar if at all possible. That way you don't have to deal with a server. We simply placed our order with the bartender. Plus we were that much closer to the beer!

The serve one of the best tripels around - I've not had anything even close in this state....

The beer is amazing. But also pretty strong, watch out. Enjoy the food and drink, but be prepared for so-so service. Interesting Fact-- Its part owned by the big guy from the TV show Parker Lewis Can't Lose.

Tripel de Ripple

The Tripel de Ripple is the best beer they have. I think it is about 12% alcohol and they will only serve you 2 of them but very good

Good food there. Eaten there a few times Great brews. As a homebrewer I have to tell you to drink up but their pomme friets are to die for get those over beer.
