I'm headed out of ton for Christmas, and wanted to take a bit of home with me. Does anyone have a regional recipe that's gone over well with people outside of the state?

I agree with the above, but catfish and chicken fried steak seems pretty local to this area. I don't eat it but my friends on either costs have never heard of chicken fried steak.

corn is our staple - perhaps a corn pudding...always goes well at holidays

I second the fried pork tenderloin, my brother works for Grindstone Charlies and they are known for theirs.
