I was thinking of starting a blog for all millitary future, present, and past. I think it would be a great way to connect with past friends that have moved on, or are still in. Not only that, but can help future millitary with answering any questions they might have, or helping past millitary with job leads, or what erver. Let me know what everyone thinks and if you would be willing to join and contribute.

I joined the AF in 2002 as a tech controller working on long haul circuitry and wide area networks. Back in 2006 we got too overmanned and the AF cut back on 40K troops, so I had to change jobs or get out. Now I'm an Aerial Gunner stationed out in Arizona. Great job, but hard on the body and knees with not much retirement oppurtunity. So now I have a retraining package in to become an intel imagery analyst. We'll see how that goes though. I grew up in the Hesperia / Silver Lakes area and go back quite often.

HH-60G Pave Hawk - It's the AF version of the black hawk that is highly modified for the combat search and rescue mission.

My biggest regret was not following my long list of family members and join the military. I hoped being in law enforcement for 25 years may have earned a bit of self service. I'm proud of you all!

Im an aircraft electrician in the California National Gaurd, and I work on the 60's and 47's.
