I'm really curious if the so-called Libertarians have really sat down and contemplated the implication of their ideal. So we should legalize all forms of abortion? Do away with all drug prohibition? Allow anyone to own any weapon that they're able to afford (I'd love to have my own tank!)? Legalize prostitution every where? Allow porn stores to be placed where ever, maybe right next to a school? Allow companies to treat their employees like trash (kind of like Faux News which necessitates their non-disclosure agreement)? Allow irresponsible companies to pollute without restriction?

The whole deregulate everything and get the government out of our way mentality is a joke. Until more people stop voting against their best interests nothing is going to improve.

What's wrong with libertarianism
So where do most IE-ers land on the Political Spectrum?-faux_news.jpeg

Thanks for asking, the answer is yes I have sat down and thought about my views. Unlike a lot of people that you must deal with I didn't pick my political views out of a box of cracker jacks. While I do not like some of the results of a truly libertarian society, I prefer it to the strong centralized government that knows what is in the best interest of each person. Teaching people to think (not what to think) is the best way to run any society as we've shown time and again that teaching people not to think and to then police them is expensive and fruitless.
