600 was mainly for mudding anyways. Although it was a fun spot in the snow.

I know it's a facebook link but it's the best I could find quickly: Waterloo Sand Pits | Facebook
In case it won't let me post links seeing as I've just joined the place is called the Waterloo Sand Pits.

Unfortunately there are very few public places to play. I want to get a quad, but don't know where I could use it in the summer months. Any place in North Iowa to ride?

It is too bad there isn't more places to ride. My inlaws have thousands of acres of farmland but none of it can be tore up for offroading.

Heck, 1/2 the streets in Cedar Rapids are bad enough to give my new truck a workout! Think I ran over a Prius stuck in a pothole this morning....

Have they cleaned up that area yet? last I heard they were turning it into a park. It used to be really dirty and used for a dump and a hideout from the police. When I lived in Waterloo.

There is Mississippi Valley Jeep Club. We are a club that is open to all full size 4x4's and are located out of the Dubuque area. We have some private land that we have runs on for paying club members. • Index page
