Not really a hater, but being a brewer they do a lot of things wrong, IMO, which effect the quality. But everyone's taste is different, so to each there own. But I do know my drinking buddy's also refuse to go there, do to the quality, so I know its not just my taste. Again though if you like it great, support you local brewery.
Front Street IMO has the best beer in the QC with their Raging River a nice hoppy English IPA, the rest of there beer is good too. My only thing with them is they are ALWAYS late with their seasonals, ex. they just released their Oktoberfest, not really a biggy, I just find it wierd.
Arcoss the river, is Bent River, great beer selection and I enjoy most of their beers, except the fruit and the jalapeno beer, and they have a good rotation of beers.
Blue Cat is meh, IMO nothing great beer wise, good food though.
Beer Bars wise, RIBCO as the best selection Ive found (Ive only been in the QC for a 1.5 years, so there maybe better), and their RIBCO burger is awesome. The Village Inn is another decent place, not really a bar, but they do have some good Belgian beers and the food is excellent, between there meatloaf and their Ruben on homemade bread, it doesnt get to much better. My favortie place though is Bier Stube in the East Village, nice cozy bar, with enough German beer (mainly in bottles) to make any German beer fan happy, and they have a good assortment of drafts (nothing really though for hopheads, if IPA's are your thing), and I love the food there, their polish sausage is my favorite in the QC.
Hope that works for you. I wasnt trying to come off as a dick, so if I did, I appologize.
