favorite Golf courses.

Mine are Slammer and Squire at World Golf village, but don't play there much, too expensive.

and South Hampton but only play there once in awhile also as it is a bit expensive.

Usually end up at Cimmarone. Not a bad course but too much water for me.

Well I live in the Ravines.... it was a great course back in the day before the jerk let it go bankrupt because they city wouldn't let him build more houses and take out the par 3.

Probably the best public golf course in Jacksonville (less than $30) is Hyde Park on the westside of Jax. It was designed by Donald Ross and used to host the Jacksonville Open when Hogan, Snead and Nelson were winning everything. Not overly long 6200 from the whites and 6500 from the tips with some decent (un-Florida like) elevation changes on the backside. Usually in fairly decent shape. here's a link to the course
