Favorite Brewpubs in KC area

Like the topic says. Post them here. I like the Flying Saucer in power & light for a good selection of beer. What are some others out there that offer a good selection of craft & import brews?

I used to be a fan of River Market Brewery when I worked in KCMO, but I see from the awful Yelp reviews that I was in the minority. . .and that it's now closed.

I'm a fan of the Saucer and McCoy's.

Flying Saucer is a great brewpub. Its been a while, but they used to have Chimay Tripel (white) on tap.

75th street is OK.

Not quite KC area, but Free State in Lawrence is pretty good. Its been a few years since I have been back home.

Free State is a good brew pub. They're starting to distribute.

I think RM brewery was solid for a while. It went downhill once the ownership changed. You know a brewery is in trouble when they're promoting their Miller/Bud specials. !

There aren't many good brewpubs in KC. In order of quality, I'd list Free State > McCoys > 75th Street. Never been to Amerisports (located in a casino) but I hear their beer is fine.

Beer bars, now... Waldo Pizza, Flying Saucer, Swagger, Foundry, and Beer Kitchen are all worth visiting.

I'm also a fan of McCoys. Their Scottish ale is great, as well as the imperial stout. I'm also a big fan of 75th Street. I think that RM was okay but nothing great. Once ownership changed, the quality of the beer really went downhill quick.
Another great place was PowerPlant in Parkville. Alas, they are no more, but the beer was always great. I think inconsistency in the food was their undoing.

Free state is great. 23rd street brewery in Lawrence also has some pretty good beers as does 75th street brewery in Waldo.
