Recommendations on Steak Restaurant

I will be travelling to Las Vegas mid-Janurary and need a recommendation on a steak restaurant. We will be staying at the Four Seasons and will not have a car, so vicinity is a little important.

We're looking for something in the $35-40 per person entree range. Restaurant must have a good selection of beers and red wines.

Any input appreciated!

Lawry's not sure about beer selection but wines should be adequate.

Surprising

My wife and I came accross a very good place in, of all places, Circus Circus. It's called The Steakhous, offers aged beef, and great atmosphere for about $30/plate

This may be a bit off the price range (I spent about $250 before tip and no drinks for dinner for four a couple of weeks ago....drinks were paid for earlier at the bar), but Flemmings is the best steak house in town. It's about 15-20 mins from the strip in Summerlin. They have a full bar and a good wine collection. You will have to call at least a couple of days earlier though to make sure you can get in.

BTW, I liked Flemmings way better than Smith and Wollensky, Joe's Stone Crab, Ruth's Chris, etc.

Best steak house in town = Hugo's Cellar at the 4 Queens. If you don't believe me, ask anyone who's lived here more than 10 years.

+1 on Hugo's. It has been a favorite of locals for years. It is little known among the visiting tourists. ......... NevSmith
