I want to ride down next summer with a few friends, we will have 6 or 7 motorbikes.
What is the best place to stay near the main area, with security for motorbikes?
keep it quiet and don't tell anyone, but our vast "underground" went away with the corporations, along with a few that just literally got put underground out in the desert! Otherwise, just go downstairs in any hotel, thats corporated view of "underground"..

remember Art very well, bought 2 motorcycles from him, all my friends bought from Art.. we even bought our DA Speed Sport Oil from ARt... Used to go to the Old Frontier Village all the time.. and Helldorado days were great... (and the Helldorado village)..

I only ask because on my last visit there, we were the first guests into the Excaliber, which should let you know how long it has been.
that's tough one, there are NO original hotels, the Sahara is still there of course, but much remodeling has been done.. the old days, they were one story buildings with tall lit up signs..

The oldest casino still in operation is Golden Gate Casino on Freement St. Opened in 1906.

They have a very cool cavern.

Check with Valet at any property. If it isn't a killer weekend, they could let you park right up front. Don't forget to grease his/her palm!!!!
and just a quick note to add, the holes and caverns near LV probably glow in the dark and wouldn't be a good place to go visit, unless you want to cook your steak in the underground microwave.. ha

I was trying to remember the name of that site that gives great discounts and promotions all the time.. Travel Deals: Airfare, Hotels, Vacations, Cruises | Travelzoo subscribe to it, use a LV zip, and it will list deals going on all over town.. some of which are pretty good..

Another reason is the road dead ends into a planned community. Not sure which came first in some cases, but yeah, it is a PITA!!!!

I was at nellis in the early 1950's. To the east there was a mountain some called sunrise mountain but properly called Frenchman's. I saw a tv show and it was gone!
Did they photoshop it out or is it really a route to vegas wash??? Please tell me.
