Who Gambles?

Technically, I gamble... but not a lot. Maybe once a month, if I'm sitting at the bar. On the other hand, the girlfriend gambles ALOT!

Worked for IGT and now working for the Venetian..can't stand the sound or look of machines or tables heh! Though it is fun to watch people win.

In order of my preference: Craps, Blackjack & Poker.

Craps is the game for those of us who are ADD/ADHD ALWAYS something going on!

Blackjack because you can sit there and have a drink and at low stakes, usually come out fairly even if you don't get too drunk and crazy. I always use my BlackJack Strategy card so that I can blame the card when I lose !

And Poker because it is so fun to cause other people to go on tilt doing things to drive them crazy!

I used to live in LV and if I was just looking to have a good time while playing some poker, I would stick to the local casino's. Usually Sunset Station was my preference. If I went on the strip and wanted to play against tourist, I would usually go to MGM because of their large poker room or Monte Carlo.

It just feels like I am throwing money away. I would rather buy more brewing stuff then toss it away on a machine or the tables.

I can count cards, but you can only make it big with a group of counters/players. I can make a few bucks playing solo but what's the point? So now, I only play the MegaBucks machines. A few hundred here and there doesn't make a difference for me but a few million would make a change.

Gambling is a rush. Thankfully I am too cheap to go overboard but there is nothing better than a trip to Vegas.
