Well I just got back from downtown Disney, we ate at the ESPN place, overpriced but good food and walked around a bit it was nice. At about 8:30 we tried to get into Disneyland with a discount for the last 2 hours so they said it would be $101 per person, forget it. We left and on the 91 East there was a big rig accident that closed the freeway, I am glad I jumped in the Fastrak when I did or it would have taken hours to get home.

That's a crazy price! Our 3 day hoppers were like $150 a person.

I used to go at least twice a year. That was before Eisner was in charge & the prices went nuts. I haven't been since California Adventure was built. Knotts & MM usually get my money these days.

What do you remember that's not there anymore? Bear Country & the Mile Long Bar come to mind.

Country Bear Jamboree, replaced by the pooh bear ride.
The people mover, replaced by rocket rods, both are gone now.
Monorail Cafe, I think the downtown Disney Lego store is there now.

Yeah we were pretty bummed when we first found out. We went over to that side of the park to watch the show and Winnie the Pooh was there, not cool.

Anyone remember the Skyway Bucket ride that went through the matterhorn?

Well I am heading to Disney this evening for their Holloween party. My neighbor works there and had extra tickets. I'll let you know how it was tomorrow.

I used to work there and I don't even know where to begin with the memories I had at that place. Many involved drinking too much at the bars in California Adventure and harassing the Princesses.
