About a year ago we adopted two mutts who were best friends. We got them as rescues from Pet Mania in Burbank.

We have the most amazing yellow lab. We got him from Blue Knight Labs in Canyon Country. We have several friend with dogs from them and all have been great. One female was a bit high strung but that's one out of six that I've known personally. One of their dogs was a deciding factor to moving to California. He was a friends yellow lab with just the most wonderful loving personality. Much like my dog who I could never say enough about to justify him. Just awesome.

We have two labs. One is a pure bred fox red lab named Montana. We got him from a local breeder.
Our other is Mississippi, a mix of lab and who knows what. Some sort of a terrier and/or
golden retriever. She was found in a trash can, and brought to a shelter where a rescue picked her up and she was able to nurse with another litter until we could take her home.
Both are awesome dogs!

We rescued Moose about eight years ago after he was hit by a car and found on the side of a road. He's a pit/lab/shepherd mix and while he can be a handful at times he's also one of the smartest dogs we've ever had.

Only downside is that he's built like a tank and doesn't quite know his own strength so having kids around him is a no-no. If they start running around or jumping it's time.

Where is Jalama Beach? I love to take my dogs to beaches. They like it too.
