Favorite LA Beach?

My favorite part about Cali are the beaches.

My favorite would have to be Hermosa Beach.

What is yours?

I've only been to the beaches from Huntington Beach down to San Diego, with my favorite being Newport, Corona Del Mar, Dana Point and Laguna Beach.

I love Hermosa Beach.

But since I live so close I always bike to Venice and ride along the boardwalk to Santa Monica.

I haven't gone to the beach for quite some time!
I always liked El Porto beach that runs from the south side of Marina Del Rey down to Hermosa.
This area allows fire pits at night and has very wide sections of sand so your not crowded in with all the other beach goers.

Hi BeachBum,
I have visited Los Angeles in 2004. Personally I liked Zuma Beach and Venice Beach. The waves of these beaches are good and water is clean. I enjoyed in this whole trip.

hermosa beach is nice. so is manhattan beach. if you talking about a bit more north, big sur is pretty awesome. and pretty much the entire coastline north of san fran is awesome.

I grew up here in Torrance, and I love the beaches just around here. Redondo, Torrance, and all the PV Beaches. I'm not a huge fan of how many people are always around in Hermosa or Manhattan, so I am usually down neat Rat beach just near the Palos Verdes Beach Club.
