Lake Pontchartrain Northshore checking in...

Hello from the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain (about 25 miles north of New Orleans). Our region includes (but is not limited to) the towns of Madisonville, Mandeville, Covington, Abita Springs, and Slidell. Anyone else in this area?

I am not from that area. I'm from Walker near Baton Rouge. I just wanted to say that one of my favorite campgrounds in LA is Fountainebleau State Park! It is great year round. We've been in January and it is still so nice because of the large live oak trees. They are awesome!
