I absolutely loved Avalon. It is a little pricy but all the food I had was fantastic. Style is contemporary mix of domestic and ethnic foods; we ate tapas style and tried a little bit of everything. Groupon has had a few deals for discounted prices which helps.

Molly Malones in the highlands is great. They have some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. If you enjoy drinking, they also have a fine selection of spirits there also.

Za's pizza there is amazing. I think Za's is the best pizza place I've ever been to. It's a bit pricey for pizza, but you won't regret grabbing a slice from them.

I am becoming a huge fan of Toast on Market for breakfast. New Albanian for Pizza (new albany).

The New Albanian is some of the best pizza I've had, however if you're towards the east end Johnny V's in J-town has some good pies too.

Sitar is the best Indian food restaurant in Louisville and quite possible the best restaurant in Kentucky!!
