You can drive old logging roads all day long near Moosehead Lake. Some are in good shape and some make you work!

Agreed. There's mostly logging trails up there. It can get nasty if you get off the regular graded roads, so be careful. Remember how far away from help you are if something happens.

I would love to join a club.... are the requirements extensive? I ask because I currently work 3 jobs. I am a mother of 2 teens. And I don't have much time to dedicate to clean-up crews... I don't even have a single full day off; working 7 days a week. I am from NH where the trails are a lot easier to come by, so I'm used to taking an hour or two, going down an overland trail, just to decompress, relieve a little stress, and unwind before work, without much planning involved. Is there any such thing in Maine?
