I love Downtown Annapolis. More over, I love two locations in particular. Sofie's Crepes is a crepe restaurant and they take a simple thin pancake to the sublime. They offer both sweet and savory crepes, as well as locally roasted coffee.
My second love downtown is Pip's Hot Dogs. They have many different kinds of franks including but not limited to, Polish, Chicago- styled, kielbasa, beef, pork, and veggie dogs. They also have burgers, boardwalk- style fries, and cheese steaks. Their house mango relish puts most dogs over the top.
I am a huge proponent of keeping local businesses going and try to patronize them often.
