Hunters?

Plenty of deer here on the shore. We had to give away 5 pounds of deer hamburger and sausage, and 5 steaks.

Any fairing as well across the state?

Does anyone have any suggestions of where to hunt in Harford county? I relocated to Joppa from Carlisle, Pa late last fall. I got an out of state license and went to PA this year since I don't know the area well yet. The cost is prohibitive to continue doing this. Someone had mentioned about getting permission to hunt on APG. Has anyone done this before, and have any comments on going this route?

Thanks.

APG is OK, lots of restrictions. Hunted there 35 - 40 years ago.

Over here on the Eastern shore I hunt Wye Island. Its a public spot that's especially good for bowhunters.

Have you been seeing much? I hunt around the same area and the deer have been pretty scarce this season and last. I hardly heard any gun shots the first or second Saturday of firearms season.

I hunted savage opening day, the place was empty of hunters and deer. I think the winter last year put a hurtin on the deer population in the western counties. We have killed several here in carroll but not nearly as many as last year.
