me and some friends have been wheeling in a place near la plata in charles county. its an abandoned 600+ acre mining and forestry site. not posted, have even had personal encounters w/ local and state lawmen w/o incident. they said its not posted, o dont have any issues in there. its got logging roads, mud pits, hill challenges up to 70 degree inclines. anything i could possibly challenge in my jeep wrangler. we even rate the trails 1-10. heaven at my backdoor.

Meh green ridge is basically a dirt road. If your going that far west in MD, take a trip to Keyser WV and there are lots of trails in the WMA's out there. Holla.

Just be aware, the Assateague ORV permit for daytime use is $90. Ouch. It is good for one year though...

Hi, I am new to Maryland, where is Green Ridge? My best wheelin' was Cape Hatteras...but alot of it is closed for wildlife protection..which I totally understand. But dunes are the best.
