Best bars on the north shore

I don't get into the city as much as i would like, but there has to be some good bars on the north shore with a decent beer selection!
Green land cafe and gulu gulu in Salem both have decent selections but there has to be more???

Hmm...that is an excellent question. I live up on the North Shore and frankly, there aren't a lot of bars I enjoy these days (guess I am getting old and tired of the club like atmosphere). Rockafellas isn't half bad but you certainly aren't going to find any craft beers in there. Tavern on the Square is a nice place. Hell, I sit in the Uno's in Swampscott and have a few beers and watch a game from time to time but that really isn't a "bar". You do get to see Johnny Pesky there about 3 times per week though.
