I'll be going on a pub crawl with my brew club in a couple weeks, and at least three of those are on the itinerary. I've never been to any of them, but it's good to see that they're recommended.

I highly, highly suggest the top three if you're a beer fanatic.

One thing to know about Bukowski's, on weekdays before 8 they have a 'buck burger', burgers and hot dogs are SUPER cheap. I think a burger is $2, cheese is an extra $1 and fries are an extra $1. It's a real, juicy burger too, not always cooked exactly how you order but hey it's cheap. It's not on the menu, ask for the buck burger.

Their beer prices are a little high compared to their competition but the buck burger makes up for it. Their normal food prices are a little outrageous IMO.

Wait what brew club are you in, I don't have one and I'm a brewer in Cambridge

I know Bukowski's is one of the stops we'll be making, so I'll be sure to try the buck burger. Thanks for the tip.

I'm in the South Shore Brew Club. I've been a member for 4 years now. It's a great club.

There's a brew club in Boston called the Boston Wort Processors. I've never been to any of their meetings, but I have been to a few of their events. Some of their members were/are members of the SSBC too.

I generally find myself at one of the following for lunch:
Cambridge Common (one of best tap rotation & lunch specials around!)
Cambridge Brewing Co (brewpub, their standard selection is acceptable. Some of their random beers are amazing)
Sunset Grill & Tap (100+ on draft, makes lunchtime decisions difficult)
Deep Ellum (again, outstanding tap rotation)

I still have not been to Lord Hobo... been meaning to hit them up after work someday but the stars have never aligned.

The Sunset Grill and Tap any day. 114 draft the last time I was there. Good food and an insane selection of drinks. Countless bottles, 18 kinds of mead and it's all constantly changing/expanding.

The sour on tap at CBC currently is amazing.

I've had a couple bad experiences there when it's been crowded, but overall, great place and nice clean taps

I like going to Boston Beer works, but the other day I went to Atwood's Tavern after I drove out to the museum of science. Mac and Cheese was great as well as other stuff, but the beer selection was great. Good mix of craft beer and good mix of commercial brews.
