To that point, what do you see as the dividing line for western MA? Being from CT I had assumed it was 91/CT River. It must be further east now that you mention it, but how far?

I'm in this boat. What do ya say?

ETA, I just saw someone from Ware calling in for this group so I'm thinking Templeton should be included too. We have nothing in common with the eastern part of the state out here.

Wilbraham here... how are you all... as for where Western MA starts I think you draw a line from the eastern shore of the Quabbin straight up and down (North to South) and start there... although that would leave places like Hardwick and parts of Ware out.... I mostly like those towns so what the heck lets keep them in... maybe the line should start just east of Sturbridge?

I would hate to give Central/Eastern MA any town I like... they already took all of my tax money and representation away from me...

Hey Peeps.

Another 1st poster from S. Hadley, but was recently on the west side of the Ct. River in Russell. Any riders here? Two wheels I mean.

I thought the line used to be from the CT at Monson line through Palmer up to Bernardson. But things have changed and I can't blame anyone east of Monson and Palmer wanting to jump that line further east and join the Western part of the state.
