We have rocks that are finely mashed up and lapped on by water all day called the beach... other than that, not too much.

At least in south florida it's mostly mud. I've never took my Jeep (assuming you're asking because you have a jeep) more than an hour away for wheeling. But it seems like it's all mud here.

Ocala has a few places that seem nice, though. Good trails and all. I'm going to try to go up there in the next 6 months (it's four hours away).

Ocala is the best place to go for trails and rocks. I'm planning a trip up there early 2011, getting some people interested now.. ain't easy.

South florida has mud and water so a snorkel is a must have. Ocala has the hills and rock and its about a 3 hour drive from Miami. There are lots of events as well.
