One of my buddies roomates' was leading the campaign. I overheard him talking concerns of a possible backlash from their practices & dishonesty.
Then the recount came up because it didn't make sense. In two districts an unprecedented number of voters would have had to break their entire personal voting history, and without any hotbutton issue to drive such an absurd shift.
Finally it turns out that they got to coordinate their own recount with no oversight. The recount itself didn't involve any verification of voters or voting records, only tallying the exact same ballots by hand that the machines counted using all the people who had already been paid to hit the streets for Mark Dayton.
I hate to be that guy but somebody has to point out how little involved & informed nearly all of us are.
Look up "Mn voter id" , an effort run by my friend Dan McGrath. It seeks to protect us against such tactics as used by Dayton's team like campaign members vouching for groups of unregistered voters & multiple multi district voting.
