No worries, not trying to discredit it. I know just, for me and people like me, if they're going to visit a city, they want to try some of the local flavor is all. FDC is certainly good stuff.

The best burger in the Twin Cities is at the Shortstop in Coon Rapids. Their mushroom cheeseburger has a small can of shrooms on it.

Don't know if anybody mentioned this one, but Barley John's Brew Pub in New Brighton has amazing food and excellent beers. Not a big fan of their stockyard Ips but the smoked old 8 porter is very fine.

I've only been to Minnesota once but I could eat Jucy Lucy's at Matt's Bar for breakfast lunch and dinner. mmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Either Matts bar or the 5-8 club both have fantastic juicy lucys. One of my personal favorites is Rock Bottom (even though its a chain), Bryon makes some fantastic beer and the food is good too.

The Bergan Bar in Bergan, mn. between Windom and Jackson has the best steaks in the state!
