Ice Fishing spots

Anybody have any input on the lakes around Saint Cloud besides Mayhew, Little Rock, or Pearl?

I haven't lived in the St. Cloud area for a while but I have fished Beaver lake (about 15 miles south of St. Cloud) for pike and had good success.

I am thinking of taking up ice fishing again, so any spots east or south metro would be cool.

WHAT? We don't have any fishermen on here??? I would like to here how people are doing on the lakes out west. Tonka, Waconia, Hydes, Swede, Staring, Whaletale, etc. etc. I went out on Swede on early ice and caught some nice crappies! Haven't been back since. I've heard that the fishing on Waconia is terrible and I'm not surprised. That lake gets so much pressure I can't believe that more people like me haven't stopped fishing it. I've been to a couple spots on tonka with little luck. How's everyone else doing on these lakes?

Moved my house to Bracketts Point on Tonka Friday night and did Terrible. I'm gonna pick it up tonight and move to Whaletale Lake. I heard the Crappie fishing is great there this year.

I'd tell you but then I would have to, well you know.
I like my secret spots to remain that way.
