Actually the franchise has dominated the division since they came into the league. Only problem is they haven't won the big game. Talk to any true Packer fan about a franchise that was down for thirty years and they will tell you it's not fun. Vikings have only missed the playoffs like ten or twelve times in the last 40 years. I would take going to the playoffs three out of four years. In the division the Packers have the next best ratio and that is about one playoff appearance in four years. The Bears and Lions are a joke.
So as far as winning the franchise has won often and a lot. Which proves my point that the fan base can't handle winning. If you look at other Elite franchises you find one common trait. That is they expect to win and they are pissed off when they don't win. The Vikings and the fans are happy when they win and start pointing fingers when they loose.
