Anyone get snow yet?

No snow here at the 3500' level, NW of Kalispell.

I heard they had flurries a few times on Big Mountain by Whitefish.

What about the rest of the state?

There's a little on the nearby mountains to the east of us.

It's snowing here this morning. Not sticking to the ground yet, but it is on the picnic table and anything else in the air.

Yesterday and today I went x-country skiing near Red Meadow pass. There was around 14"-18" on Tues. but it had settled to under a foot of wet heavy snow by this afternoon. Here are a couple of pics.

It snowed in Helena the other night, for about twenty minutes, but the wind was blowing so hard I don't think it hit the ground until it was over Sydney, or maybe Fargo.

Chewy, those are great pics! We love the Red Meadow area, too. Was that buck up there? Beautiful animal.

Skyrider, I remember the wind from when we lived in Lewistown. Come up out of the hole and try to drive to Great Falls in the winter...couldn't see a thing most of the time. The snow rearranged itself in the wind all winter.

Nah, just cold and rain. Hopefully soon. (now I'll patiently wait for the inevitable flaming!)
