This is the lake near us.


I'm heading out in my kayak.


The water is so clear you can see the bottom even when it's quite deep.


It's fun to explore the channels through the cattails.


The view is pretty looking across the lake toward the mountains from one of the channels in the cattails.


The view through the weeds is pretty cool, too.


The sun was getting low. Time to head for shore. When the sun drops below the ridge it gets pretty chilly out there on the water.

Awesome. I don't remember what it's called either, but that sounds right. I just follow the guys that know where to go. It was a fun little ride, right until it started dumping tons of rain. Was a really wet ride home.
