Lewistown, in the center of the state, has great schools. If you're looking for a bigger town, I've heard good things about the schools in Great Falls.

Has anyone heard whether they passed that abominable bill, the one that was to start sex-ed in Kindergarden in Montana schools? I've a feeling it wouldn't fly at all up in our corner of the state.

The district schools here around Eureka are good in their own way, but very small-town, under-funded, not as many opportunities.

Dillon has a decent school system, not many jobs for parents right now. I heard Helena was going ahead with their child sex ed program.

We are pretty happy with the Frenchtown School District. We have a gifted third grader and the elementary school has done a pretty good job of keeping him challenged and interested so far.

Thanks for the input so far. Any thoughts on schools around the Bozeman area? Three Forks, Manhattan, Belgrade, etc.?

Us too. We were a little worried since the mill provided a lot of the district's funding but now that it sold hopefully there won't be a problem
