songs that make you cry

These songs always bring tears to my eyes:

Adagio for Strings, Op. 11/Samuel Barber/1938
Apollo 13/James Horner/1995
Exodus/Ferrante & Teicher/1960
John 19:41/Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber/1970
Over the Rainbow/Judy Garland/1939
Schindler's List/Itzhak Perlman/1993
Something for Joey/David Shire/1977
They Were Flying for Me/John Denver/1986
White Christmas/Bing Crosby/1942

Do you have songs that cause a lump in your throat?

P.S. John 19:41 and Adagio are very similar.

Harry Chapin had several sad songs. "Cat's in the cradle" was probably his best.

One song that always gets to me is the song named "Demons" from Kenny Chesney's Just Who I Am album.

God bless you and him always!!!

another one

Tears in Heaven/Eric Clapton
Not just the words and melody, but the story behind the song is heartbreaking.

I love the early 2000s TV series Everwood, and its theme always creates a lump in my throat, particularly the version from the first season.
