Has anyone driven on the beach lately? I used to do it all the time but just havn't done it awhile. Than's what I enjoyed about Daytona.

My brother and I used to do it all of the time. Not sure if you still can. Moved away a few years ago.

Re: Driving on the beach

I've never seen anyone drive on the beach in the Myrtle Beach area; however, at Galveston beach in TX, I used to drive on the beach all the time. It was so much fun. Maybe there is a place in the MB area that is secluded, not many people and one can drive on the beach. That would be something worthwhile to research.

Not on the grand strand

there is nowhere on the grand strand that I can recall that allows driving on the beach. Have done this in southern louisiana though.

Don't believe it lends to driving.......here's a beach scene at Surfside Beach and it's probably like that all along the beach....I think you can still drive on the beach in North Carolina (NAGS HEAD).....that's how the fishermen go to the beach....

Read this article if you have'nt driven in the "sand" before.....needed info........
