WASHINGTON? Billionaire investor Warren Buffett will headline a pair of campaign fundraisers for President Barack Obama later this month.

Obama's re-election campaign says Buffett will help raise money for the president at an event next Tuesday in Obama's Chicago hometown. The longtime Obama adviser will also headline an event on Sept. 30 in New York City. Obama was not expected to attend either event.
Earlier this week when Obama outlined his thoughts for a special congressional committee that has to find up to $1.5 trillion in deficit cuts, he suggested that Congress impose a minimum tax on millionaires. The White House calls it the "Buffett Rule." Buffett has complained that Congress coddles the wealthy and has said it's unfair that his secretary pays more in taxes than he does.
