Can There be a SS Trust Fund?

My own representative seemingly misunderstands the Social Security scheme. I say it is Ponzi in that it always bets on future generations contributing enough to cover payouts. The balance on the books after payout is called surplus and thought to be in a trust fund. But use just a small bit of logic, if it earns any interest the taxpayer is paying it. If it earns interest then it is being used by the holder. The difference between banking and government trust funds is that banks work the money for gain in the private sector. The government spends the money leaving us to both replace it and make up for the fact there is no way for it to be leveraged for gain. It doesn't matter when the fund goes dry it is flawed from the getgo as there is no way to grow the fund to keep ahead of inflation. So when the fund fails the Ponzi scheme would become apparent were it not for clever politicians pretending the fund had somehow been raided by the other party. You cannot put this money in a vault and have anything left when you draw from it other than inflated dollars (again if any interest the taxpayers pay it).

Correct and you are not at all alone in this statement.
There is NO (un)Social (in)Secure trust fund, never has there been one. It's another of the many ILLUSIONS, like Rights and Liberties.
ALL MONIES paid in taxes go into the General Coffers to be used for whatever purpose/purposes deemed as necessary, like funding for the many wars that have been, are ongoing, and will become.
