Demographics

A federally funded non-profit organization (Acorn?) registered voters at a NC mental hospital. Of the 21 most recently registered under the program; one registered as a republican, eight as unaffiliated and 12 as democrats. The organization was also quite willing to to assist the residents with filling out their absentee ballots.

The father of a developmentally disabled daughter said his daughter voted for Obama for president. He asked her president of what and she had no idea. He also asked he who else she voted for and she didn't know. It seems that the staff of the group home snookered both father and daughter.
