It really appears to be, rarely if ever does the right present any real evidence or argument about what he does wrong, everything he does is wrong just because it is coming from him, you can't possibly say you haven't heard any of that "he's not one of us","he's not american", "he's not my president" type of rhetoric.

I think you'd agree that Obama was handed a pretty darn incompitent mess to begin with. This poor man has one heck of a hurdle in front of him. I just think it sucks that everyone seeks to demonize someone, just because they don't fall into a perfect vision of our beliefs. I remember 12 days in, on another forum and the republicans were already pissed of. I came on and said "good gawl guys, let the guy at least get a year in before hanging him".
Changing gears a bit, we have had more than a year of his presidency, and what positive (or negative) has he accomplished? All I heard was this "change." What change?
I'm not real big on Obama,........SURPRISE! But I get the impression that he could solve the worlds problems, and have some money left over in his hands and he'd STILL have detractors. But in my mind, moving ahead on stem cell research and pulling us out of the dark ages emitted an inner cheer for me. Banking and credit card reform, another. The healthcare reform bill, while loaded with things that ticked me off, like manditory insurance, still forced insurance companies to play fairly, though as I knew they would, they just cranked up the rates on everything. Never put in a claim on our house, but the rate has doubled over 3 years and they just cancelled us because my house is old like me. Obama has done lots of small things, but nothing really earthmoving. I've listened to so many political speaches over the years....Tell me Mark, do you believe ANYTHING these poloticians say! They aren't gods. I know that much for sure.

Reagan did terrible. How he is remembered as great president is scary.
He more than tripled the national debt, threw sick people into the streets, gave weapons to Saddam Hussein chemical ones, traded with the Contras and set the US intop this debt due to his tax cuts that he never recovered from.
He didn't end the Cold War, he made Gorbachev think he was nuts enough to use nukes, which he was, but the Cold War was all but over, and the reality of Nuclear arms prohibited their use anyhow.
Reagan is a blight on American politics.
As for Obama.
He can't change anything. That's not what presidents do. Had his party maintained control of the house or senate, maybe he could have, but the American people are to stupid to let that happen.
I'm not on either side, I look at the bipartisanship in America, it makes me sick. The belligerent false hood that people perpetuate about Obama is absurd, and only working to further drive a wedge of non progression in American politics, which is known to be a joke the world over.
