We all, more or less, are prone to pick and choose evidence that supports or creates a position we would like to believe. Here is a link to an article that tastefully discusses the issues of the Jews and the land.

Where do you stand on this, Eddie? The only thing I have read, and don't know if it should impact anything, very few of the Palestinians are from Palestine. Yassar Arafat, probably the most famous, was actually Egyptian.

I believe in the Jewish state and that Palestinians are a myth rather than a people group. However there are many innocent people called Palestinian that need a fair solution to the problem which is not of their making. It is a complex problem with no easy solution and the US might do well not to meddle.
